George M. Lee – Partner
George M. Lee’s practice is in primarily in civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on commercial and business litigation, real estate litigation, business and partnership disputes. He has also actively prosecuted civil rights and constitutional claims to secure and defend his clients’ rights that are guaranteed by the United States Constitution.
Over the past twenty-five years as a civil litigator, Mr. Lee has tried cases in state and federal courts involving civil rights and constitutional claims, trade secret and data theft cases, slander/defamation actions, and successfully defended fraud claims to verdict.
In 2021, Mr. Lee was lead trial counsel in Miller v. Bonta, a challenge in federal court to California’s Assault Weapons Control Act, resulting in the first such successful challenge at the trial court level in the nation. In 2021 the LA/SF Daily Journal recognized him as a “Top 100 Attorney” for his work in that case. In 2023 Mr. Lee was also selected to SuperLawyers.
Mr. Lee has appeared and argued before the California Courts of Appeal, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the California Supreme Court. He has prepared and submitted briefs to the United States Circuit Courts, and to the United States Supreme Court.
